PERFORMANCE QUARTER HORSES · SPRINGTOWN, TEXAS

A Life Built on Purpose

Chosen Water Performance Horses is a family Quarter Horse program on the North Texas prairie outside Springtown. We raise, develop and campaign horses with the mind, bone and athletic ability to perform, and we bring the same care to every one of them that we bring to the life we built here.

The name wasn't handed to us. We chose it.

Dreamer, A Smart Dream, standing in a morning pasture at Chosen Water Performance Horses.

FOUNDATION BROODMARE · FOALED 2016

A Smart Dream

A brown mare by Smart Time Skipper, with Smart Poco One and Lenas Poco One on top and Invitation Only and Zippo breeding through her dam. Dreamer is the foundation broodmare of our program, the mare we're building the next generation of Chosen Water horses on.

Colonel, FG Dual Colonel, a bay roan Quarter Horse standing in a ranch paddock.

CUTTING STALLION · FOALED 2025

FG Dual Colonel

A bay roan stallion bred to cut, carrying Metallic Cat and Doc O Dual on his sire's side with Vagabond Colonel behind his dam. We're aiming high with Colonel: the goal is a world championship in the cutting pen.
