Chosen Water Performance Horses sits on the North Texas prairie outside Springtown, where post oaks shade the pens and the horses come up from pasture as the sun goes down. The name wasn't picked off a list. It came out of the life we've built, one deliberate decision at a time.
Every family has a story it was handed and a story it decides to write. Ours is the second kind. When it came time to name this place, we wanted a name that carried that idea: one that would mean something to us, and to whoever carries the brand after us, without needing an explanation to anyone else.
Chosen
Nearly everything that matters here was chosen: the name we carry, the family around our table, the partnership at the heart of it, and the decision to build a life around horses, land and the values we want to pass on. None of it happened by accident. Chosen isn't about what came before. It's about what we decided to make of it, and the story we're proud to tell.
Water
Water honors the Waters family and the ranching tradition that runs through it: hard work, good stock, and land cared for well enough to hand down. It also means what it has always meant out here. In ranch country, water decides everything. It's where cattle gather and horses drink, and it's what turns hard country into a place a family can put down roots. Say it out loud and Chosen Water sounds like a landmark, the spring cattlemen came back to year after year. That's exactly what we hope it becomes.
The Three Fork Brand
The Forks: three family histories, Fuller, Waters and Jones, each with its own roots, coming together as one.
The Stem: a single family, chosen and built intentionally, standing straight through the middle of it all.
The Curve: the foundation beneath it, water, the land, and the ranching legacy we carry forward.
It was drawn to work as a true livestock brand, simple enough to put on a horse's hip and strong enough to read across a pasture. A legacy worth putting on a gate.
